How much does shipping cost?
UK shipping is FREE for all orders, shipped 2nd Class. International shipping costs apply.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes! We have some countries listed on our shipping options, but if you don't see your country listed, please drop us an email at [email protected] and we will get a quote and add the option for shipping!
Will I have to pay customs if I order internationally?
The additional shipping cost charged at checkout covers international shipping to your chosen country. If, upon entry to your chosen country there are customs and duty charges applied to your order, you are liable to pay these yourself.
Who do you ship orders with?
We are currently shipping all orders with Royal Mail.
Are you eco friendly?
We're trying our best to be! Here's everything we've put in place:
- You may receive a pre-used envelope, this is our way of reusing as much as we can
- Your envelope will have a piece of cardboard inside, this could be a cereal box, jaffa cakes or even some coca cola! We are planning to reuse packaging to stiffen envelopes and stop them from bending, then you can pop it in the recycling when it gets to you
- Your print will be packaged in a reusable document wallet, these will protect them from the elements on their journey to you! Please reuse the document wallets and - they're the perfect size for a boarding pass and travel documents!
- You won't receive an invoice/packaging slip included in your order (what's the point in wasting paper if you don't need to!), this will have been emailed to you when you place your order and we can send a PDF version at your request
Can I exchange my order or get a refund?
Because all prints are made to order, we are not able to facilitate returns. However, if your print arrives damaged, wet or just not as you expected, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we will do everything we can to resolve it.
Can you do custom prints?
We absolutely can! Get in touch with us at [email protected] to discuss all your custom needs.
What sizes do your prints come in?
Our prints are currently available in six sizes, based on two different types of paper available.
Photo paper available in sizes 4x6", 5x7" and 8x10".
Card available in sizes A6, A5 and A4.
If you would like to discuss any other print sizes please drop us a message at [email protected]
What kind of paper are prints made on?
We use two different kinds of paper, set at different price points, to print designs. The first, called photo paper is a little cheaper and provides a glossy finish, printed on photographic paper. The second is card, which is slightly dearer and is a 250gsm satin card finish.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Our BigCartel site accepts card payments through Stripe and payments through Paypal.
We also have some products listed on Etsy if you prefer to shop there, but please note that items do include a mark-up to cover Etsy Seller fees.
Where are you based?
I am currently living in Lincoln, England but am originally from Birmingham, England so orders could come to you from either of these places!
How are your designs made?
There are two ways our designs can be made. The first, and most common, is hand-drawn (with love!) on Procreate, this is used for any illustration based designs and cursive typography. The second option, Photoshop, is used for photo collages, personalised designs and any typography that looks best typed.
Can I follow you on social media?
Yes of course, please do! We have an Instagram and a Facebook account for Claritea Prints. Our creator, Talie, also has plans to make videos about the experience of setting up a small shop on her YouTube and TikTok, so be sure to check those out!
